SEASON 2020-2021 DRAWS TO A CLOSE.
The current season officially ends on 30th June 2021. I wanted to take the time to thank all the SelKent League members.
When I say Members i am talking about everyone that has contributed to allowing this season to be completed. It was their dedication in an exceedingly difficult time that allowed it to happen. This message is to show my appreciation to the Players, Managers, Assistant Managers, Coaches, Club Officials and Parents. If it had not been for their Commitment, we would have never been in the position of completing six months competitions in ten weeks. A lot of teams were playing Saturday and Sunday not to recognise that without the commitment of the above-named people our goal to complete this season would not have been possible. THANK YOU!SelKent Committee
I wanted to give a special thank you to the SelKent Committee who played a huge part in ensuring that our programme to play six months fixtures in ten weeks was achievable. The last five weeks has seen them organise and attend our Cup Finals and Shield Finals. Last Sunday they organised and attended fifty-one Shield finals at two venues arriving at 7.00am and not leaving until 8.00pm. Most of our Members do not even know their names so please allow me to thank Shayne Hoadley (Chairman), Ken Pickerell (Vice Chairman), Kay McIvor (Registration Secretary), Peter Hoare (Web Site Technical Officer), Carole Crowhurst (Registration & Transfer Officer), John Goodman (Referee Secretary) and Colin Etheridge (Trophy Secretary). THANK YOU!i WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY SUMMER AND REALLY HOPE WHEN WE RETURN FOR SEASON 21-22, WE CAN OFFER YOU A FULL SEASON COVID FREE. IN THE MEANTIME, LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES AND STAY SAFE.
My best wishes to you all
